Signing the Memorandum of Understanding & Cooperation, Kyiv, June 2015

In September 2015, three more regions joined the Quality Improvement Collaborative. RESPOND Project and Health Departments of Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhya Oblast State Administrations signed the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in witness of the Ukrainian Center for Disease Control.

By signing the Memorandum the parties agreed to work together to improve the quality of the continuum of HIV services and fill in the gaps in the HIV care and treatment cascade in order to achieve timely identification and effective antiretroviral therapy for at least 72% of key populations living with HIV, particularly people who inject drugs (PWID), and reduce all forms of discrimination and stigma towards people living with HIV.

Earlier in summer similar agreement was signed with the Health Departments of Odessa, Kherson, Mykolaiv Oblast State Administrations, and Kyiv City State Administrations.
